What is Saddlite?
Saddlite is the first truly mobile system designed specifically for equine veterinarians. It is a web-based program and iPad application.
What does Saddlite do?
Saddlite makes your job easier by organizing all information right on your iPad, for every horse treated. Billing, patient info, exam notes, treatments, history, medications, labs, diagnostics, images. All information is fully accessible from any computer as well as from the iPad. All you need is an internet connection.
How will Saddlite change my practice?
Saddlite is SIMPLE. Instead of carrying cumbersome files, notebooks and papers with you, all you need is one iPad. Get your day started and finished with no paperwork or filing. Hit the road for an emergency call without worrying if you have the right notes with you – everything is always on the iPad with Saddlite.
How will Saddlite affect my customers?
Saddlite makes you look extremely professional and knowledgeable in front of owners and trainers. With complete history at your fingertips, your customers will think you have a photographic memory! It also allows you to easily split billing between multiple owners.
I’m not computer saavy. Will I be able to use Saddlite?
Yes! Saddlite is extremely user-friendly and requires no IT knowledge. We do the technical stuff for you, and our support team can answer any questions, any time.
What computers do I need to get started?
Saddlite can be accessed from the office on any Mac or PC, and the app is exclusively for iPad and iPad Mini use at this time. You will need one iPad or iPad Mini per user.
How do I get technical help?
Every vet practice in the Saddlite family receives 24 hour customer service and technical support free of charge from ThoroVet with their subscription to Saddlite. If you need help now, you can call our support team at 877-989- VETS (8387) and speak to a real, live person right away!
Where is my data stored?
All of your data is stored on our encrypted servers, and remains accessible to you at all times without using any of your hard drive space.
Is it secure?
Yes. Your information is backed up daily and encrypted to the highest standards
What happens to my files if I cancel my subscription?
If you decide to cancel, your data will be stored for at least 7 years, and will remain viewable for 90 days. If you are no longer a Saddlite subscriber, you will not be able to make changes or use the program, but you will be able to see information previously entered for 90 days.
Why can’t I just pay once to download and install the software?
Saddlite is subscription based because it’s more than software. We provide tech support, complete data storage, and the ability to integrate your work in the field with your work in the office.
What if I don't have an internet connection, will SADDLITE still be functional?
No internet connection, no problem. Even if you are at the most remote farm or on the backside of a track and cannot connect to the internet you can still enjoy the functionality of the Saddlite. Perform your examinations on your patients, generate invoices, upload images and video. When you do return to civilization, simply connect via wifi or cellular and the Saddlite will sync updating your admin section of the system.
Do I need another cellular line?
Don't want to pay for another cellular line? No problem. Saddlite will work on wifi. You can have full access to Saddlite via a hotspot or most cell phones act as a wifi hotspot.
